Message | Justice is to be balanced with mercy. A judge who weighs heavily on justice and ostracizes mercy becomes a tyrant. |

Message | Indeed, but a government run by human beings is in no position to be giving mercy sincerely. |

Message | Sincerity is not the problem here; the state exists as a unit for the benefit of its members. The state's responsibilities consist of few tasks; and I'm certain you'll concede to many. The maintenance of justice, persecuting criminals, settling claims and disputes through judicial services, protection of private property, the foundation of a national defense and the introduction of basic healthcare. |

Message | Your problem is you want the decision of exactly how many "tasks" the government will be responsible for to be completely arbitrary on your part. I want the government to exist soley for the purpose of protecting freedom. All other issues in society will have to be resolved by the market. Sincerety is an issue when the government is stealing the money I have worked for and giving it to other people. The government cannot show mercy (atleast in the situtation we are talking about) without first stealing from another. |

Message | There will always be a charge for this 'sincerity'; a job which can be defined as helping the weaker. The person who seeks fair trial, the person who seeks justice against a wrong committed against them and the poor. We both believe in the free market; however, we must recognize that in order for the market to be free, failure must exist as an option (and indeed, like a purging fire, happen). However, this bill is a safeguard against fatal failure, not to provide welfare as it is to provide alleviation. The taxation on our people is not high; in fact, it is some of the lowest, however, if we seek to lower the cost on people and a person dies from the lack of pharmaceuticals, all cuts will have been in vain. |

Message | The free-market does not limit private persons from giving medical attention for free; it just limits the government from stealing and giving to other people. |

Message | And if any fatalities do result, I cannot imagine they would be equal to or more than the amount of fatalities that would result if we were to use the state to subsidize the poor. |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
