Message | Mr Speaker, this Act will give the state control over all religions and suppress their visibility to the people of Hutori. This will minimise religious influence over Hutori for the better. |

Message | Mr Speaker, the Labour Party have suppressed hundreds of thousands of votes by entering into a coalition with the CLP so supressing religion should be no problem for them! [sound of backbench laughter] |

Message | Mr Speaker,if the HNP was in power today, more votes would have been supressed. The Gentlemen needs to understand, we are a democracy. |

Message | Yes, Mr Speaker, it is a democracy and the HNP were voted in? So what is the Labour Party member talking about? Clearly he is a complete idiot! The HNP recieved so many more votes than the Labour Party so we are more democratic than them. We were elected to promote these views, unlike the Labour Party we do what we were elected to do which is not to betray voters by entering into a coalition with the CLP. |
Date | 16:20:35, May 23, 2010 CET | From | Labour Party | To | Debating the Religion Act |
Message | Mr Speaker, the gentleman has evaluated that it is infact he that is the "idiot" here. By asserting that he has the right to govern over me in accordance with the number of votes he recieved, he also asserts that the CLP have the right to govern over him. Therfore the Labour party is only fulfilling its democratic duty by supporting the CLP government. Thank you. |

Message | Duke McCullum MP, HNP Leader, Mr Speaker, typical Labour running to its guardian the CLP [sound of backbench laugher]. If what they say is true that they are fulfilling their democratic duty then they are clearly misguided. They were not elected to support the CLP! They were elected to represent the views of those who voted for them! Seems the Labour Party have no idea what representative democracy means. The HNP represents our voters properly, and we would never prop up a regime that would not benefit us. Perhaps Labour can enlighten Parliament on some of the Socialist Acts the CLP have helped them introduce? |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
Random quote: "If man asks for many laws, it is only because he is sure that his neighbor needs them; privately he is an unphilosophical anarchist, and thinks laws in his own case superfluous." - Will Durant |
