MessageMr Speaker, the Conservative-Libertarian Party have once again shown their total disregard for the true people of Hutori by putting nationality down to simply passing a test. You do not choose where you are born, you are chosen!

MessageMr Speaker, this has been the situation for decades. It was disrespectful for the other parties to change it. It rewards loyalty to His Most Royal and Serene Majesty, the Hutorian state and fellow Hutorian people. It is not just about passing a test, Mr Speaker, it is about recognising and rewarding an individual for making an immense contribution to this country. The individual must have lived here for a decade, they must have entered the country legally, and contributed to the country's economy. Mr Speaker, our former First Tribune, Marquess (Pauel) de Wit, was born overseas and became a citizen of this country at the age of 23. He lectured in a university for many, many years, teaching people the Hutorian language and Hutorian history. After entering parliament, he was elected by the people to serve in what was the highest elected office in the land. Mr Speaker, do the FFF dare to suggest that such a person has offered nothing to this country?

MessageMr Speaker, we do not deny that he was a good man, a man of both integrity and respect but his one fault in his birthright.

MessageMr Speaker, whilst the FFF may find fault in his birthright, over 50% of people in this country did not have a problem with his origins, even when up against the nationalist and populist Miss Knowles who exploited the racial issue in the two campaigns. Mr Speaker, the people of this country are tolerant and proud of their inclusivity. They recognise the service that most immigrants give to the country, and recognise when they have earned their right to stay here.

MessageFurthermore, Mr Speaker, It must be noted that the aboriginal population of this nation are the Mashacara, who only make 5% of our nation. The rest of our population is mostly made up of hutors who are immigrants themselves! A further 30% of our nationals are non hutori descent. Exept for 5% of our population, we are a nation of immigrants!
