Message | Mr Speaker, although this is wonderful and patriotic, we feel that some citizens of the state do not feel quite as nationalistic as the HNP does, and it would be an infringment on there civil liberties to be made to sing the national anthem, or have there children be forced to. Patriotism cannot be forced on people, but must be earned by proving that this nation is worth its wonderful anthem, the law as it is allows the students to sing if they so wish, and we support it as it is. |
