MessageA State not involving itself in market regulation has no excuse to attempt to regulate salaries. Our current law states that no wage regulation may be imposed on citizens. Ministers of religion are also citizens and such a move might even be illegal we will not support this bill.

We suggest that if this bill is approved, it become one of the first assignments of the Supreme Court.

Message"The present law states that there are no regulations on wages. If that is true, then all this Act does is clarify that they are subject to the same law. If wage laws are ever created, this Act shall ensure that the Church follows the law of the day."
