Bill: Privatization of the Power Market Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Centrist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2944
Description[?]:
The need for electricity could just as well be filled by private companies, and not solely be the responsibility of the state. This would open for more companies and businesses entering the market which could provide new jobs and also stimulate the economy. However, by letting some of the stations remain under public control, we will still be safe in case of emergencies where the private net is not sufficient. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy on energy generation.
Old value:: All power stations are publicly owned.
Current: Private power stations provide energy for the entire power grid.
Proposed: Private and public power stations exist side-by-side.

Message | Whose is to say the state is able to offer the best prices? Liberalization of markets does not always mean someone is going to be "ripped off". |

Message | As well NCPA, we are giving public AND private not just all private. We know what could happen if it was all private. But, we are giving a choice and going to create more jobs. |
