Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: April 2947

Description[?]:

Finding legal basis on the Supreme Court of Solentia Act of 2943 [http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=292015] the Utilitarian Party of Solentia hereby submits to Supreme President Helen Brown and open to Senatorial Consent its nominee for the office of Justice of the Supreme Court of Solentia for the term June 2947 to June 2954:

Name: Hanna Bentham-Mill
Age: 49
Experience:
- Constitutional legal advisor to the UPS, 12 years
- Legal attaché to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 9 years
- Private law practice, 12 years
- Regional court Justice, 4 years

Information: Bentham-Mill is one of those lawyers whose experience immediately sets them apart. Being raised in one of Solentia's most liberal families, Hanna Bentham-Mill has paved the way for a new generation of judges. Since a very young age she engaged in private practice and created an opinion of her own. Her experience was appreciated and after her retire form private practice she entered the Regional Court of Fuwan. Her former experience (as well as considerable assets inherited and earned from her previous private practice) allow her to be an independent judge not afraid of talking strong against the establishment nor against private enterprises. She had an important mission in the beginnings of the Utilitarian Party of Solentia and although now completely focused on her duty as attaché to the foreign affairs ministry, she remains a critic of the flaws of the party and offers eventual advice on legal matters. She has a delicate hand when mediating between the individual and the State, she is strong advocate of civil liberties and small-government and has a thorough knowledge of international law.
