Voting deadline: December 2946
Description[?]:
In compliance with the Supreme Court of Solentia Act of 2943 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=292015), the Federal Independent Party is guaranteed one Justice on the Supreme Court for the term 2947 - 2961. BIOGRAPHY NAME: Daniel Adon AGE: 41 EXPERIENCE: --- Minister of Education & Culture 2943 - Present --- Director of Fuwan Department of Education 2936 - 2943 --- Fuwan State Senator 2933 - 2936 --- City of Rhegium Attorney 2930 - 2933 ADDITIONAL: Daniel Adon has been a favorite among his constituents, from his youthful days as a determined State Senator to his tenure working in a coalition government as the Minister of Education. He has exercised a fair and tempered administrative policy while working in the education system and been known by supporters and opponents alike for his reach across the aisle attitude. Adon has had a strong policy of allowing the best education to be available to Solentians and has addressed the division between public and private institutions. Though there is little background of Adon in relation to matters of ideology, his days as a Fuwan State Senator showed a support of environmental and workplace regulation while being a fiscal conservative. He is a known supporter of Supreme Presidential powers while maintaing checks and balances with the Senate. Adon is considered a potential swing vote on the Court between the left and right. |

Message | While the CPS realizes that Mr. Adon does not require Senate Confirmation, we cannot in good faith put our trust in someone who has supported regulation of the marketplace, despite how 'fiscally conservative' he claims to be. We shall vote a ceremonial 'no.' |
Date | 18:31:32, May 30, 2010 CET | From | Coalition for National Unity [CNU] | To | Debating the Supreme Court Justice: Initial Court FIP Placement (June 2947 - June 2961) |
Message | "The Tory Party makes it an official Party policy of voting yes to the initial make-up of our court system as part-and-parcel of our support for the structure and development of the Court. As such, despite reservation on opinion, we shall support." Sen. Keith Juras, Shadow Justice Secretary. |
Date | 04:57:28, May 31, 2010 CET | From | Utilitarian Party of Solentia | To | Debating the Supreme Court Justice: Initial Court FIP Placement (June 2947 - June 2961) |
Message | The Utilitarian Party of Solentia welcomes future Justice Daniel Adon. While we do not feel a young supporter of regulation might be the best example of a neutral judge in court , we are aware that although no Senatorial Confirmation is needed, we must have a diverse court and despite our objections it would not be of senatorial courtesy to have a justice entering the court with less than the required votes; ergo, as a sign of respect to the Supreme Court of Solentia, and not because we are convinced of his abilities, we will vote yes to ensure the symbolism is maintained. |
