Description[?]:
An elimination of the corporation tax will lower prices for consumers, increase production of goods and exports creating more jobs, all the while helping to raise the tax revenue from luxury sales. Message | Current tax revenue from the luxury tax stands at 460 billion. Current spending stands at 433 billion. The budget will neither waste tax dollars on a massive surplus, or risk our future on a deficit. |

Message | As much as we respect your belief that a free market regulates itself, we completely disagree. Just as a communist cannot guarantee the public a society with no government and no money, a libertarian cannot guarantee a free market that practices self-restraint and social responsibility based on the profit motive. A 15 percent corporate tax is a very low tax to pay and provides a means by which corporations can provide the socially responsible return which we can use to spend on stimulating the economy and providing the basic needs for the people. I say we keep the surplus as you never know what that reserve of money will be needed for such as natural disasters, war, or any other extenuating circumstance. |

Message | To the PPP: This is not a matter of eliminating regulation on business, although we do indeed seek that. Taxation is not a regulation on business practices, but a way to fund them. We have already set a budget for the nation and its regulation of business, now we are seeking a more efficient way to fund it. Right now we sit at a 300B Gadur surplus and that is a waste of taxpayer money. |

Message | That 300B Gaduris can be well spent on free education or healthcare or perhaps more wisely on an economic investment fund that will invest in foreign interests, the profits of which will serve as investment for our domestic economy to keep our economy diviersified if it begins to lose in certain vital sectors. However, regardless of the size of the surplus a portion should definately be kept in reserve in case of an unforseen catastrophe. |

Message | You can use some of that surplus to give back tax rebates. But you should not permanently cut out taxes nor reduce the 15 percent tax rate. |
Date | 19:39:14, November 08, 2005 CET | From | Anarcho-Capitalist Front | To | Debating the Corporation Tax |
Message | The budget has already been approved, there will be no more given to education or healthcare until it is changed. As for tax rebates, there is no income tax to rebate. There is no sales tax on necessary goods to cut back. The only effect of this bill is to cut back on corporate spending, which means fewer jobs and less consumer goods. |

Message | There can be more given to healthcare if a bill for example comes up changing healthcare policy in the nation. You don't need an income tax to give a rebate, you can set aside a portion of the surplus to send the people a tax refund. And if there is no income tax and no sales tax than how could this surplus be a waste of taxpayer's money? Its only a waste if it is treated as such. Decreasing corporate spending by eliminating the corporate tax is not going to guarantee more jobs or more goods. What it will guarantee is a government without an adequate cash reserve to handle extenuating circumstances. |
