Message | Rt Hon Baron Marelle MP, NSC Frontbencher, Madam Speaker, why do the CLP continually propose this Bill? This must be...at least 3 or 4 times in recent memory! Do they not realise that Hutori doesnt want this? |

Message | Madam Speaker, in a recent poll 28% of people declared that they favoured a private, unregulated space industry. Of all the options given to the people, this was by far the most favoured option, so the gentleman should not claim to speak for the Hutorian people. Madam Speaker, we continue to propose this because it is extremely unprofitable. Since coming into government ownership the Hutorian Space Agency has not carried out a single mission and is simply racking up massive debts. Given the enormous burdens that the taxpayer currently shoulders, this is an unnecessary addition. |

Message | Madam Speaker, that poll still shows 72% are against, hardly a basis for support. The current Hutorian space exploration scheme is a relativley small one and doesnt consume a lot of money. Given the state of our current budget Hutori can afford this scheme. |

Message | Madam Speaker, that argument does not hold. Of all the options, that is the most popular. If we are looking at it that way, there are 78% of people who oppose the status quo (more than oppose this proposal). More importantly, Madam Speaker, and this is the crucial statistic, 65% of people favour some private sector involvement in the space industry. Given the gentleman's fondness for such statistics of support, how does he answer that? |

Message | Madam Speaker, when 65% of Parliament agree with it, then it can be changed. |

Message | Madam Speaker, the NSC often quotes the will of the people as though it were a holy text and now, at last, we have an admission from them that the voice of parliament is extremely important. Madam Speaker, you couldn't make it up. |
