Bill: Realistic Government Income Tax Bracket Option I (6t SOL)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party of Solentia
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2952
Description[?]:
The Conservative Party of Solentia propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Federal Republic of Solentia. OOC: I realize it's ugly and unfair, and ICly almost none of us would support it. But I got no comments on my OOC bill (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=293417) and so here it is, a tax bracket that makes the government a budget of 5,972,722,000,000 SOL, just under 33% of GDP. |

Message | OOC: I understand your worries concerning the budget/GDP. Solentia is 10%, but I think if you can raise it up to 15% it would be ok. I favour a progressive tax bracket, but 70% is way too much. I propose you cut all numbers by half and see what comes. Once done that, you have my vote. |
