MessageRt Hon Baroness Marelle, Prime Minister,

Madam Speaker, the people - in voting for the NSC/UFD coalition have shown they support the status quo. We do believe that this sort of arguement is a matter for Parliament to decide and to not take to the streets and comend Labour for doing so. Nevertheless, this Bill will not pass through the House as the NSC/UFD coalition is built on its anti-religous votes and for either of our parties to support this would be a betrayal to our voters and more than likely result in our voting out of office. We have always maintained there is no place for religion in Hutori and while the NSC is in power, we will strive to ensure it stays this way.

MessageMadam Speaker, given that the NSC has betrayed the voters in other ways, what is to stop them from betraying them on this?

Let me also remind the House that part of the government has its own religion and is allowed to get away with it. I cannot imagine the people will be happy with that.

MessageRt Hon Baroness Marelle, Prime Minister,

Madam Speaker, the UFD has not got a religion! They defined it themselves so the CLP are incorrect when they say that a part of the House is a religion - unless they mean the Labour Party.

MessageMadam Speaker, of course the UFD has a religion. It just worships living figures instead of deceased or mythical figures. Some of the Mashacara religions worshipped the animal kingdom and they have been deemed illegal, so a party that worsips living human beings must surely count as religious.. Madam Speaker, why are the NSC so blind as to their allies' failings?

MessageMadam Speaker, should this not be argued with the UFD? Those who are in this apparant religion. The UFD insist that they are not a religion and the NSC believe them. What more do the CLP need to hear?

MessageRt Hon Michael Mancini MP, NSC Frontbencher,

Madam Speaker, we also tell the CLP and Labour that they are simply wasting their breath and quota by continually proposing pro-religion Bills. This government will not pass any of them as i assume the (first reading) means there will be more.

MessageMadam Speaker, the CLP has not proposed any pro-religion bills. Nor would it ever propose "pro-religion" bills. It would propose "pro-neutrality" bills if anything. But, Madam Speaker, it is important that the people know exactly what the parties stand for. It is clear to see that, although this won't pass, the people will know exactly how passionate parties are about it.

MessageMadam Speaker, at least the CLP realise they have no real influence anymore. The NSC will continue to remove religion and the police as we speak are destroying churches and overseeing that religion will never rear its head in Hutori again.

FromConservative-Libertarian Party (UM)

MessageMadam Speaker, they NSC do not desire to remove religion. They desire simply to remove enough religions to make way for the cult of decay which it seems this government is making into a state religion by the back door. Madam Speaker, government can never destroy religion for over half of this country are religious. Belief, faith and commitment don't vanish simply by statute.

MessageMadam Speaker, Labour have already informed the House that half the population isnt religous. Unless religous people voted for the NSC/UFD - very unlikely - then how did we get our majority?

Madam Speaker, this is only 10 years ago so will barely have changed at all. Of course, any census conducted now would be based on false grounds for nobody would dare define themselves as religious given that it is now illegal!

MessageMadam Speaker, obviously there are unreliabilities about the census, but the people gave the NSC/UFD a majority so we arent complaining.

Sorry Madam Speaker, he is not a joke. The NSC are just toying with the CLP comments. Now Madam Speaker, should a foreign party with no representation in Hutori be allowed to make comments in this House? I believe it shouldnt!

MessageMadam Speaker, just to return to the former issue as to whether the Cult of Decay should be classed as a religion or not, perhaps the House would like to remind themselves of a statement made by a UFD spokesman in this House on the Great Abolition of Religion Act:

"The only religion that should be accepted is the Cult of Decay. And as long as there are not enough cultists to take this step, no other religions should be allowed."
http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=293673

Madam Speaker, the people of this country need no further evidence as to the way in which this government ignores its own laws on the banning of religion.

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current.
