Message | A completely nationalised fishing industry is surely not neccesary as long as limits on the industry to ensure sustainability of fish stocks are ensured. |

Message | We can support this, but we would rather see it under complete collectivization by workers. |

Message | CFP, as it stands, all businesses must be operated by Democratic Workers' Councils. I would assume that still applies to Government civil servants. |

Message | Of course it does not stand for the government, as the cabinet are the 'bosses' of the cabinet. We can not support this, as we find that the current system works. |

Message | "as we find that the current system works." I would like to see documentation on this system "working". My office assistants have been receiving reports of corruption and malfeasance in these non-government controlled fisheries. Vital food and money is slipping through the cracks without a more careful eye on the industry that only the government can provide. |

Message | OOC: This discussion will only go back-and-forth, as no-one can prove nothing IC: We stand by our words, it is of our believe that the current system is the best system. |

Message | OOC: Yeah, its bad practice. Neither party can prove anything really so there is no point in trying to debate how effective something is. As far as the game is concerned, the effects of policy A are 0, as are the effects of policy B. The only real statistics the game produces are periodical opinion polls in the SR Ikradon Daily, and they only prove what the most popular policy is. |

Message | "OOC: This discussion will only go back-and-forth, as no-one can prove nothing" (OOC) That was my point by bringing up my secretary with "information". We cannot know whether a policy is "working" or not. ;) |

Message | OOC: That's why I started my post with this: "I would like to see documentation on this system "working"." |

Message | OOC: Mistake on my part there, should have stated that it is our belief that the current system is the best alternative. |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
