Bill: Reformation of the Government of the Commonwealth Act of 2958

Details

Submitted by[?]: Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2959

Description[?]:

In its current form, the Government of the Commonwealth of Yishelem and Beiteynu has the trappings of a theocratic, one-party state under the Christian Imperial Party. We must work to correct this, to restore the Commonwealth to its post-war state of democratic government under the constitutional monarchy of Luthori.

OOC: The HoS and HoG being two separate officials doesn't violate the Treaty of Poesy because the treaty explicitly allows the de facto HoS to be a democratically-elected representative of King George of Luthori (and the HoG is always democratically-elected).

Random fact: Real-life organisations should not be referenced in Particracy, unless they are simple and generic (eg. "National Organisation for Women" is allowed).
