| Notice: The Director-General of the Federation of Zardugal, Cyril Atanas, under advisement and in accord with the Security Council seeks the authorization of the use of military force under a set of conditions in respect to the growing crisis on Dovani engulfed around Sekowo. Mission: The nation of Skeowo has gone through two violent civil wars within memory and now with a radical nationalist regime in power the energies of the ravaged nation are being spent on a national quest to regain their former glory by threatening Terra with research and development of weapons of mass destruction. Several weeks ago rogue government of Sekowo announced clearly and proudly to the world via their newspapers and other media outlets that Sekowo would do it's part to ensure all non-Dovanian nations were expelled from the continent. Rhetoric is often used to rile up the base, this is an item we understand. However, the actions taken which reflect the truth and candor of the public comments of the current junta of Sekowo represent a vital threat to global harmony and security. Sekowo has used it's air force to take down a commercial airliner killing hundreds of innocents on board. This prompted several nations, specifically our allies in Luthori and Hulstria to impose a warranted and measured blockade upon Sekowo to ensure their threats of production and the use of weapons of wholesale slaughter were not obtained or the materials required made available. In turn a group of Sekowon Air Force jets sunk one of Luthori's Battlefleets off the coast of Sekowo. Actions: 1: A full economic embargo on the nation of Sekowo. Zardugal as Terra's largest exporter of uranium can not and shall not allow our markets and industries to support such a regime. 2: At present 50,000 F.M.Z.(Federated Marines of Zardugal) are stationed along the southern border of Sekowo in the Federated State of Trosk and will, upon passage of this bill, be deployed out of Dovani and given their allotted leaved. With the departure of the 23rd Army Group 120,000 men which will be formed under Task Force Amarillo and General Benjamen Senty. 3: Task Force Amarillo will be authorized in the event of hostile maneuvers undertaken by forces within Sekowo that would indicate a risk to any of the Federated States of Dovani to take preemptive action to stop such actions from becoming too risky. This decision will be contingent upon the Director-General's confirmation of orders. 4: Should any nations of Dovani or nations within proximity of Sekowo's potential WMD program request aid from Task Force Amarillo General Senty has full authorization contingent upon the Director-General's confirmation to aid in whatever capacity is deemed fit by General Senty. OOC: This is not a 'war resolution' though it defines when Zardugal will go to war or the events that might cause it. Accordingly this will require a 2/3rds majority. |
