Bill: Health Reform Act 2963

Details

Submitted by[?]: Jakanian People's Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2965

Description[?]:

While we in the JPP recognises every citizens right to good health, we also take into consideration the people's own right to choose. We think that by prohibiting private health care we eliminate this choice and also undermine the very idea of universal health.

Not even by crippling the population with high taxes the nation healthcare can ever hope to efficiently serve every single person, and without the force of competition the healthcare itself is to be consider below acceptance.

Therefore we propose that the ban of private clinics shall be repealed, this means that new, dedicated healthcare sector will show up to give first class care to our citizens. And for those unfortunate who can not themselves pay for their health care the national clinics will remain, ensuring that no Jakanian is left behind!
