Message | The balance between worker and employer relationships is a delicate one. In any truly free society, men and women hold the right to gather into groups and pursue their ends collectively. A proposal undermining this right would be disastrous to the system for negotiations of wages and benefits. It is not up to the government to regulate what is a reasonable strike or not, nor is it for the employer to decide. This proposal also begins a dangerous deterioration of free speech rights, subjecting advertising to a moral standards board. It is worrisome to TSP that these rights are so casually negotiated, and we reject this proposal with all our conviction. We call upon all other freedom-loving Rutanians to reject this bill as well. |

Message | The people themselves, not the government, are the ultimate arbiters of morality. We shall not infringe upon this right, this responsibility of theirs. |
Date | 18:32:25, July 16, 2010 CET | From | Rutanian Syndicalist Worker's Party | To | Debating the Moral Business Legislation |
Message | This bill is deficient only in that it does not go far enough in asserting the rights of the worker. |

Message | Which is why I kept it up to debate, but maybe we will try to run it as a national bill, even though it will fail. But we will keep the Shariah style banks within our community. |

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators. |
