Message | The reason for this is contracts to privatly owned defence industries can provide a boast to the economy. This is seen in many cases in history. |

Date | 06:07:48, July 30, 2010 CET | From | Common Sense Conservatives | To | Debating the Small Reform Bill on Military |
Message | What about private companies getting contracts by the government, which provides a boost to the economy? They work alongside the government, because the government is the one who gives them contracts. That doesn't mean they own their own private army. |

Message | They have the capability to arm paramilitary groups. We do not think that allowing them to do this is in the best interests of the states. |

Message | Anyways Paramilitary groups do not get their arms from private companies. Private companies insure more jobs are made and more money goes back to the people of our nation. Furthermore, what if the government goes into deep recession and/or depression then defence plumets with no other compaines to supply more arms then what will happen? It also gives a chance to have better technology to come up and as the other party said, improved defence. Private companies also allows more entrepreneurship to sprout up. |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
Random quote: "I do not believe that the United States should be bound by the same rules as the smallest African nation. Life isn't like that." - Richard Perle |
