Details
Submitted by[?]: Common Sense Conservatives
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2977
Description[?]:
The Common Sense Conservatives propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Gaduridosland. (revised bill)
We believe we must take serious cuts to reduce national deficits, we will gladly vote to raise spending again when and only when we have a surplus, and it doesn't bring us back into debt again. |

From | Northern Alliance | To | Debating the Budget proposal of June 2976 | Message | We don't believe these budget cuts are right for the nation. We will propose our own cuts soon but we in government believe these are wrong. It is our responsibility to run the government and these cut hinder our ability to do so. |

From | The CFoG | To | Debating the Budget proposal of June 2976 | Message | That's all good and proper but... I am interested in what you dislike about this one. Which areas of this budget cut specifically do you dislike. |

From | The CFoG | To | Debating the Budget proposal of June 2976 | Message | I am not going to shut up until the question is answered. Which cut is it that has made you vote no? |

From | The CFoG | To | Debating the Budget proposal of June 2976 | Message | In that case... wonderful... I know that the cut in tourism costs may not look to be great as it is one of our big things... but removing a deficit will enable us to offer better international trade (our other main income). |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
Random quote: "The answer to global warming is in the abolition of private property and production for human need. A socialist world would place an enormous priority on alternative energy sources. This is what ecologically-minded socialists have been exploring for quite some time now." - Louis Proyect |
