MessageWhy? What's wrong with allowing school's to decide their policy towards prayer? (I'll probably remove it, I'm just curious)

MessageBecause praying is a private moment between you and whoever your God is. You should force religion up on people, especialy not on children...

Message(okay, my big speech got lost :'( )

Alright, look, there are private schools across the nation that aren't allowed to hold prayer in classes because it's illegal. Parents send their children to these schools so the children can learn the traditions of their religion. This requires prayer, in some cases. So, by leaving it up to the schools, I'm giving them a chance to show the children those traditions.

Whether or not they're fed prayer i ntheir childhood, children will form their own opinions. Trust me, I'm an atheist, and I've been going to Catholic schools all my life.

MessageVote yes to article one and three. Remove article two, it creates the possibility for despotic media control and empowers the government. Government distributed media is counter-productive and dangerous.
