Message | This would create a postcode lottery. Depending on where you lived, would depend on your school, would depend on your discipline. Some children could run riot and shoot their teachers, others would have to behave. We need a national policy on an issue like this as it may create confusion for parents, students who move schools and teachers who move jobs. Opposed. Margaret Ballantyne, Education. |

Message | "I am sure they would refrain from shooting their teachers, what with our new fool-proof gunlaws, tough crime system and superbly equiped police forces. The CUP retails full confidence in the ability of schools, Governors and Headmasters to judge appropriately the level of discipline required in their school and craft independent policy to match the needs of their individual student-base. We agree that this would end up in different schools having different policies, however we see that as a positive. It grants parents choice in what level of discipline their children recieve, teachers in what type of school they wish to teach-in and schools the ability to individualise learning to match the needs of their students." Message | We think our policies will be tougher on school kids, who have gotten away with murder, literally, for too long. MARGARET BALLANTYNE |

Message | This law would lead to far too many potential abuses from rogue schools the SDLP believes that corporal punishment at any level is ineffective if not counterproductive. Leonie Muller SDLP Education Spokesperson |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
Random quote: "Global warmers predict that global warming is coming, and our emissions are to blame. They do that to keep us worried about our role in the whole thing. If we aren't worried and guilty, we might not pay their salaries. It's that simple." - Kary Mullis |
