MessageIts becoming increasingly obvious maroon that you are in fact not all bothered about the security of our nation, you are willing to accept lacking border control, any refugees to just waltz into our nation and now to leave the population unidentified. the only people who would not like to carry identifacation are those with something to hide. does that include you maroon's

MessageWould your party feel comfortable if another party's agents stormed your headquarters and gathered all the information they could? It's the same thing if the government comes in without reasonable suspicion; after all, the majority party is the government.

MessageIt seems to me that simply being issued identity cards is a step in the wrong direction that could only lead to more intrusion by the government. Also, printing identity cards, only to not require anyone to carry them seems like a waste of money that could go elsewhere.

MessageYour comments are very reasonable, and since IDs can be provided by private institutions lke schools, universities, and workplaces, we will change our vote.

Ideally, we would like to see a system of voluntary ID cards.

MessageIn answer to the maroon partys question. if the government would so wish to enter our headquarters they would be welcomed. we have nothing to hide.

MessageEven though that would mean your party strategy would be known to the other side as well as any embarrassing but not illegal tidbits of your leader's past?

People are uncomfortable with others snooping around. That is a fact of human nature and it should be respected.

MessageAs keen supporters of liberty we believe this is a massive waste of time and an infringement of civil rights.
