Message | "This has little to do with morality, only a super-state. We feel this is most unecessary and rather expensive. Money on projects like this should be going on the frontline, equipment, counter-terrorism and security, not national Service and forced recruitment." George, Lord Seymour, Shadow Defence Secretary. |

Message | That would be right. A sensible and pragmatic decision comes to tighten security, make our youngsters learn some decent morals and it gets opposed by the CMP. Soft on crime, tough on victims. This proposal has reduced crime where tried before. Dennis York Shadow Defence |

Message | The SDLP does not wish Solentia to become a Spartan form of Republic, we encourage young Solentians to join the military, not force them. This policy is just another example of the totalitarian agenda the Conservative Party seems to advocate. Alan Thibeault SDLP Defence Spokesperson |
Date | 22:42:58, August 19, 2010 CET | From | Meritocratic Alliance | To | Debating the Ensuring Standards and Morality |
Message | On further thought, is it democratic to merely pay those who are most desperate for work to defend and serve our country? Is it morally right? It seems to take the burden of defending our nation from the backs of the priviledged, and in so doing, kills patriotism and honor. We must all be prepared to do the right thing. Consscription, therefore, is necessary. |
