| Message | The LDA cannot support treaties that give the blessing of Hulstrian protection to Dovani territory possessed by a non-Dovanian nation without historical ties to the continent. The treaty must be amended to exclude territory of Rutania on the Dovani continent from Sections 2, 3, and 4 of Article I. |

| Message | We got our Caltropic lands from the same country they got theirs. Plus, Rutania and Hulstrian relations have improved quite well in the past few decades, withdrawing from this treaty only gives a bad message to the Commonwealth, and turns back relations. |

| Message | We are a Dovanian nation; they are not. Rutania and Hulstria can, and should be, friends and allies but the LDA will not support a treaty that pledges Hulstrian blood and treasure in the defense of Rutanian-controlled territory in Dovani. We can have non-aggression - and by no means is the LDA advocating hostility towards Rutania or a desire to expand the Hulstrian Empire. We can have mutual defense that covers all other Rutanian territory, but those territories must be outside of the agreement. |
