Message | If the general will of the people has changed so much that they are willing to change by ammendments the constitution; the general rule of law, then they will do such by the means provided to. Until that time, which cleary is not now, you will have to be satisfied with making laws within the framework of the constitution; the document that serves to represent the general will of the people. And because it indeed still does largerly represent the general will of the people, it highly unlikely that it is dangerous, rather, it provides people with the ability to predict the outcomes of certain actions that without an established rule of law to set up a framework, or a degree of predictabiltiy within that framework, would not be possible. |
