MessageAs much as I oppose the stupid and unecessary restrictions the conservative parties which to place on the conduct of individuals within their own private spheres, I will not support a government where the people making the decisions on economic policy are largely (especially in the case of the communists) in favor of central economic planning. Economic policy is after all, the greatest factor in deteriminig what the actual effects of legislaton will have on the everday lives of the people.

MessageWe may still vote in favor because like you said, our party will be the head government as have the ability to veto any legislation so I suppose the positions of the socialists could be rendered moot.

MessageBasically, the Libertarian Party will be yet another example of a Liberal/Libertarian that is so desperate to get into power and hold positions in government that they will work with any party, even if they have stated previously that they were not in favour of supporting left-wing economic policies.

We'd have been supportive towards the proposed coalition if the Libertarian Party had not made such remarks, and then appear to go back on the simply because of the positions of power they have been offered.

MessageWe share much common ground with the Libertarians on social policies. Our disagreements on the details of certain economic issues are overshadowed by our shared desire to create a fairer and less intrusive government for Darnussia.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
