Bill: Power to the People
Details
Submitted by[?]: Sue's Corner
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2996
Description[?]:
It is incredibly important that we give power back to the people, local government and local communities. They must be the people who decide what is best for them, their local areas and their local services, not the state and not ministers. Our legislation goes some way in giving powers back to the people and increasing the power of the individual. Presented by Gill Reynolds. |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
