| The People's Military of Dorvik will be undergoing an extensive change this year. The People's Military of Dorvik will now become the Armed Forces of Dorvik and will comprise three branches: the Dorvik Army, the Dorvik Navy and the Dorvik Air force. Two independent branches will be set up, a Special Operations group which will protection Dorvik's interests around the world and a Dorvik Rocket Division which will handle all the nations weapons of mass destruction. The Armed Forces of Dorvik will be headed by the General Secretary as Commander-in-Chief at all times, while the day-to-day operations of the Armed Forces of Dorvik are handled by the Ministry of Defense, which the Minister of Defense is the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Dorvik; making him second in command of the military in both political and military aspects. Each military branch will be headed by a selected staff, they are as follows bellow: -- Dorvik Army will be headed by the General Staff of the Dorvik Army. -- Dorvik Navy will be headed by the Dorvik Admiralty. -- Dorvik Air Force will be headed by the General Staff of the Dorvik Air Force. -- Dorvik Special Operations Group will be headed by the Dorvik Special Operations Command. -- Dorvik Rocket Divisions will be headed by the Dorvik Special Operations Command. In each of the 3 main services, a superior officer rank will exist. In the Dorvik Army, High General will be the superior officer, in the Dorvik Navy the High Admiral will be the superior rank, in the Dorvik Air Force, the High Marshal will be the superior officer. The person who holds the Chief of Staff of the respective commands will be promoted to the rank. The two independent services do not, and will not maintain a superior rank. The Armed Forces of Dorvik maintains it's own Intelligence branch, which falls under the main command of the Central Intelligence Agency of Dorvik, however it is rather autonomous in it's work. Each of the 3 branches maintains it own Department of Intelligence within the Armed Forces Intelligence Agency. The two independent branches have Departments within the Central Intelligence Agency of Dorvik. The head of the Armed Forces Intelligence Agency can be of any rank, but must meet the requires set down by the General Secretary and the Ministry of Defense. |
