MessageThe rights of parents and the rights of children are sometimes conflicting and we believe this is such a case. This issue has been one of intense debate without our party.

In the end, however, we believe the only way to ensure children are guaranteed a quality education is if the state intervenes to ensure all children attend a facility with professional and vetted teachers.

Message"Ultimately, the rights of the child need to be heeded more than the rights of the parent. Education whilst lawful under the State, must happen in State institutions to ensure adequate standards and must happen under the supervision of professionally trained teaching staff."

Andron Conas, Education Secretary.
