Message | Green Action disbands "We have made one promise to the people of the Five Nations," the President-Councillor said, wiping a tear from her eye. "We have failed to deliver. The Chemical and Biological Weapons Treaty was defeated once again in the Citizens of Assembly." Another tear ran down her cheek, smudging her cruelty-free mascara. "Therefore, my darlings, the Green Action party is disbanding. We will not contest the upcoming elections. It has been my pleasure to serve in this office, but failing to deliver on our mandate, we must now fold our tent." Green activists, who had ratified the decision in advance, are dispersing. Some will join other parties such as the anti-statist Equitistas, whose deccentralizaiton policies are close to Green core principles. More will scatter themselves among Lodamun's huge number of non-governmental organizations, abandoning electoral politics for grassroots action. A large number are already forming Lesbian & Gay Freedom Leagues, which vow to fight the homophobic politics of the Church of the Faithful which now controls government in partnership with the Libertarian Militia. A few plan to join the doomed mission to destablize the Deltarian government. Others will take advantage of Lodamun's tax-free status to expand the already thriving green business sector. The Church of Terra (which has unofficially controlled Green Action for some years) will continue to exist in Lodamun, where it will soon have state religion status alongside Lodamun's other diverse religions, spiritualities and faith communities. |

Message | ooc: this gives others a chance to full my seats through early elections if they like. I'll be inactive, but check in now and then perhaps. It's been fun... |

Message | We oppose the Green Action disbanding. We pledge to them that we will continue to support the CBW treaty in the future, provided that they continue to support their end of the bargain. We feel that it is a shame that the Greens wish to retire, though we have been bitter enemies ever since their reorganization in the 2080s. Our vote, that we cast below, will be against. Not in opposition to the Green's right to disband, but in opposition to filling the seats, which we would prefer to leave empty but counted for the next few years. |

Message | The Mob demands a new head of state. Obey the Mob! (Or just do it for the sake of occ having people be good to one another. Whichever. Bye now.) |

Message | In honour of the truly stupendous efforts of the CCF/GA to seek common ground and common sense among the disparate and warring parties of Lodamun, we vote in support of this bill. We do so with much regret, believing Lodamun will be losing a party which brought creativity, versatility and humour to the nation's deadlocked wrangling. In voting yes we believe we are complying with CCF/GA's wishes. Good luck and good hunting. |

Random quote: "The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. When in a state of security he does not forget the possibility of ruin. When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved." - Confucius |
