Message | All working Solentians should be entitled to a wage that allows them to comfortably live. If people are to be encouraged or willing to work it is in the interests of all that our minimum wage can provide a decent living for those who are at greatest risk of financial strain. We must ensure that all citizens are looked after for or we run the risk of creating a social underclass, with the accompanied dysfunction. Cheryl McAvoy SDWU Social Security Spokesperson |
