You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help small men by tearing down big men. You cannot help the wage-earner by tearing down the wage-payer. You cannot further the brotherhood of mankind by encouraging class hatred. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot establish sound security on borrowed money. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn. You cannot build character and courage by taking away man's initiative. You cannot help man permanently by doing for them what they could do and should do for themselves. |

Message | How does giving the Citizens' Assembly a term that has absolutely no historical significance in Lodamun 'restore its prestige'? |

Message | It used to be a Parliament. Then it was demoted to being called a citizen's assembly. Now it will again have a name pertinent to a legislative body. Prior to the last parliamentary name change, "citizen's assembly" had no historical significance. |

Message | Remember: most of these extreme constitutional changes are contrary to 100 years of parliamentary history and will pass only due to an opportunist vote in the wake of the departure of GA. In terms of parties, the vote is split 50:50. The three voting in favour should not push these changes through, taking advantage of a temporary lack of representation for a significant proportion of the population. We urge them each to reconsider. Those who are willing to override the democratic will of the people, who continue to vote yes despite parliament being unrepresentative, are drawing new terms for the political process in Lodamun. Expect a similar response. |

Message | I would like to remind the Equitista of a similar such move that happened in 2092, when wouter introduced a faulty algorithm that led to each party being nearly equal in representation. This left the Adam Smith Party and I, the largest and 3rd largest parties, with less than 1/3 of the vote. You used that opportunity to put through a name change and a change to the name of parliament. The only reason that other things did not change is because the majority's consensus liked them as they were. What goes around comes around. Even if it takes 45 years to do so. |

Message | You have had been offered countless opportunities to address that issue. We're delighted the fanatics have decided to stop trying to hide the arrogance and ignorance at the core of their puerile "politics". As you say, what goes around comes around. Let the games commence. |

Message | After the constitutional changes currently in vote, I would have considered things to be even. If the Equitista is suggesting that they wish to continue such activities, we must accept the invitation. The have not shown any restraint in the past, and I hardly think that things will be different. |
