Bill: Anarch Anakrousite Shatter Reform Bill - Removal of Unjust Restraint (v)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Commonwealth Workers Army
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2140
Description[?]:
The Anarch Anakrousite Shatter believes that the Likatonian Senate has been hasty. We have allowed ourselves to be deprived of sovereign Rights to self-govern - and bound ourselves to policies imposed by deskpilots in foreign powers. The Anarch Anakrousite Shatter believes we should continue divesting ourselves of some of the excessively controlling Treaties that we have impetuously chained ourselves to. "After all, if the Likatonian people WANT a curfew, it SHOULD be their right to demand one. If they DON'T want a curfew, the responsibility should STILL lie at the feet of the people, and our democratic system". "We believe that we MUST remove ALL constricting Treaties - because the people MUST have the right to express their opinions, and MUST have the right to democratically decide their nation's sovereign future... If our people do NOT have the right to free speech when the material is unpalatable, then we can NOT claim that we TRULY have 'free' speech, at all". |
Proposals

Message | The AAS does not believe that the Likatonian people need to be controlled in this manner. If Likatonia wants to make democratic laws about 'the working man', the Likatonian Senate is more than capable of doing so, for itself, without external interference. |
Date | 15:57:28, November 12, 2005 CET | From | Front for State Prosperity | To | Debating the Anarch Anakrousite Shatter Reform Bill - Removal of Unjust Restraint (v) |
Message | We typically oppose withdrawing from treaties. We operate under the belief that treaties promote international goodwill and cooperation. They help prevent aggressions. They're also good for business in that they make a stabler climate which changes less frequently and which is closer-tied in international legal status. |

Message | Response to the PCP: Does the PCP representative not see the dangerously fascistic overtones of what they say? "...They're also good for business in that they make a stabler climate which changes less frequently..." We should allow the removal of democracy, because it might infringe on profit-margins? |
Date | 06:08:07, November 13, 2005 CET | From | Representative Party | To | Debating the Anarch Anakrousite Shatter Reform Bill - Removal of Unjust Restraint (v) |
Message | We continue to oppose these unneccessary withdrawals from treaties. |
Date | 18:42:46, November 13, 2005 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the Anarch Anakrousite Shatter Reform Bill - Removal of Unjust Restraint (v) |
Message | How are withdrawals from treaties 'unneccessary'? Likatonia MUST be allowed sovereignty. We MUST allow the will of the Likatonian people to decide our national destiny. Why would the Representative Party POSSIBLY have any reason to WISH for our Senate to be controlled by outside powers? |
