Message | Mr Speaker, We must unfortunately begin our address to this most august body by pointing out that this bill is in violation of Diet rules as it has not sat in debate for long enough. We ask that the CPP respect the rules on debate in the future. That being said, the ruling GCP supports this bill and will manage to have the CIL as a whole, via the party whips, support this bill. However, the GCP must voice its pronounced opposition to article 2. The opposition ULC on the other hand, supports only articles 1 & 3. I yield. |
