Bill: ASC Lobbying Report: International Treaties
Details
Submitted by[?]: Antepec Separatist Corporation
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 3007
Description[?]:
Article I: The Axis Military Treaty is an international agreement which could unwillfully draw Telamon into a military conflict. Telamon should be pressed to take military action only when it is in the national interest; not when other nations make rash foreign policy decisions which draw us into multi-billion TPD operations which could endanger the very safety of the state. Article II: The Anti 'Greater Likatonia' Alliance is an international aggreement geared towards stopping the long gone delusions of an ancient Likatonian government. The only purpose it serves now is to prevent us from opening diplomatic relations with Likatonia as well as making us appear archaic in policy. Furthermore, we are the ONLY nation in this alliance. It is time we withdrew from this obsolete agreement. |
Proposals
Article 1
Withdraw from the The Axis Military Treaty.
Article 2
Withdraw from the Anti 'Greater Likatonia' Alliance.

Random quote: "Ask the experimenters why they experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are like us." Ask the experimenters why it is morally okay to experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are not like us." Animal experimentation rests on a logical contradiction." - Charles R.
