Henceforth, as per the wishes of the Diet and the people of Luthori, 1) The Supreme Court of Law of the Holy Luthori Empire shall be known as the Imperial Court of Law. 2) The Imperial Court of Law shall have the final authority on the interpretation of the Imperial Constitution and shall carry out all other duties presently carried out by the Imperial Supreme Court. 3) There shall be nine justices on the Imperial Court of Law. 4) The Imperial Diet shall elect, by simple majority three of these justices. 5) The Privy Council shall elect, by simple majority three of these justices. 6) The Sovereign of Luthori shall appoint three of these justices. 7) All justices on the Imperial Court of Luthori must imperatively be either nobles or clergymen. 8) If a majority of the Diet believes a commoner should be appointed to the Court, it may request that this commoner be ennobled by the Sovereign who is then free to accept or deny such a request. 9) Said Sovereign must necessarily be the Head of the House of Orange-Villayn. 10) This act is an amendment to the 3rd Imperial Constitution of Luthori and requires the support of 2/3 of the Diet to pass. |
