Message | LEC seems particularly keen on promoting sodomy. It seems that his fate must eventually lead him to the stake. Perverts must be extirpated from Luthori: by legislation or by trial by fire. |

Message | Actually UCP, I'm heterosexual, I just support equal rights. |

Message | There he (LEC) goes again: always trying to "defend" himself - "I'm NOT gay"; "I'm NOT a pubescent child"; "I'm NOT totally untutored"! So, who cares a damn if you are 21, straight, private-school tutored and able to read Terry Pratchitt. Even if these things were true (and we only have your protestations to go by), it means NOTHING in the face of your wanton and lame-brained arguments. I'd like to see evidence that shouts: "You are NOT and idiot!" But let's none of us hold our breath. |

Message | At least I debate the topics at hand in a reasonable way, instead of attacking the opposition. Oh, and it is Terry Pratchett. |

Message | Everyone already has an equal right to lead a moral lifestyle. This bill would grant special rights to a deviant minority to commit unholy crimes against humanity. |

Message | I'm wondering where this description of heathenistic sodomists as "gay" comes from? "At least I debate the topics at hand in a reasonable way, instead of attacking the opposition" ... hahahahahahahahahahaha. Rubbish. |

Message | Government has no right to be in people's in bedrooms. We are not a totalarian dictatorship. It's odd how you guys say "NO MORE NANNY STATE!" and at the same time say "REGULATE SEX!" That's not what honorable men do; it's what scheming men do. |

Message | We're not regulating sex, we're just banning sodomy and perversion. That's something completely different: sex is for procreation and is only moral when conducted by a man and his wife. |

Message | That's the nanny state, DUP. Listen, I have no problem with you doing what you think is right. HOWEVER, at least dont hide behind the façade of being against the nanny state. It's like my opinion on United States foreign policy; if you want the beat the crap out of Iraqi's, fine, but don't give some sissy reason. Say it was because you wanted to kick Saddams ass, and leave it at that. |

Message | "Why can't they have gay people in the army? Personally, I think they are just afraid of a thousand guys with M-16s going, 'Who're you calling a faggot?'" – John Stewart |

Message | That it a good quote. Here are some more: The Religious Right dislikes both abortions and homosexuality. But who has fewer abortions than gays? According to the Gospels, Jesus did not devote any serious time or effort denouncing either "abortion" or "homosexuality" though he did devote serious time and effort denouncing the "rich" along with self-righteous religious hypocrites. Maybe today's Religious Right could learn a few things about "prioritizing" from Jesus? Alexander the Great? Another gay in the military. If AIDS is God's punishment for sex, why is a little piece of rubber so effective in avoiding it? If AIDS is a divine punishment does that make lesbians God's chosen people? |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
