Message | We prefer central Government control, the local Governments should enforce our decisions and run their regions, not start making policy, especially different policies across the country. A unified system is better for all. |
Date | 16:06:21, October 24, 2010 CET | From | Union Hosienne-Démocrate (UHD) | To | Debating the AFK - Devolution Act |
Message | Local governments are more responsive to the people; they are closer and represent them better. With a population of over 600 million, the centralized government can become too unwieldy, inefficient, and out of touch with the people. |
Date | 05:36:58, October 26, 2010 CET | From | Parti Conservateur Royaliste | To | Debating the AFK - Devolution Act |
Message | The central Government should decide central issues for the a compulsive legislative programme for the nation while the local governments handle local issues and represent the local community. We cannot allow a separation of legislation across the regions. |
