Message | And who decides which information is vital? This provision opens up for severe violations of human rights. |
Date | 21:31:01, October 22, 2010 CET | From | Nemangha Humananghô | To | Debating the Repeal Police Reform Bill of 3015 |
Message | Vital shall be determined as information necessary to the welfare of the state and people of Aldegaria. Should this information be essential in the preservation of human lives, we see the temporary comfort of an individual is second to the natural right of others to live. We see it as a human rights violation to allow our people to die because the authorities refused to act, should such an emergency scenario ever occur. |
Date | 23:39:46, October 22, 2010 CET | From | People's Party - Republican Democrats | To | Debating the Repeal Police Reform Bill of 3015 |
Message | And who decides which information is necessary for the welfare of the state and people of Aldegar? It's like rubber, it could be stretched to almost anything. Allowing torture is a sign of an authoritarian state, but the FRFSP seems to be quite comfortable with that, given the general direction of their proposals. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
