Message | Against. We don't really care, however, If we don't care we look at these things: 1. Will it cost the Government money? 2. Who proposed the bill, a similar ideology (that is, CC, LPP, maybe DUP and CU) or a different one (that is, DNUP or SDU)? On this one - no. |

Message | The CC defends abortion (of poors' children) but does not wish to offer ways to avoid abortion ? Abortion costs more to the healtcare than supported contraceptives. |

Message | There are plenty of viable alternatives for those in low income situations. the first and CHEAPEST one is abstinence, but lets be honest, poor people are the least abstinent of all economic groups. secondly, if these people are going to do it, they should buy their own goddamn rubbers. By giving them out for free, the government is just promoting people to have more sex, which will cost more and more money for john Q Taxpayer. (poor people dont pay taxes either) Thirdly, It they are going to be stupid, and make a conscious decision to have sex, and not use birth control, then its their own problem funding the abortion. In addition, I think we should cut funding on health care for this very reason. You give people way too much credit SDU. If these people can afford an abortion when they screw up, they sure as hell can afford 10 bucks for a pack of rubbers. |

Message | Abstinence is not, has never been and would never be a fair and decent solution. I fail to understand how free contraceptives can "deeply" modifie sexual habits of our citizens. And abortion should be free, as it's a part of the healthcare... |

Message | They wont modify... But tell me why exactly the Government just interfere in any way in the private sex lives of individuals. It's their choice to use or not use contraceptives. If they cannot afford them, and want to use them, then they shouldn't have sex. Sex is not a vital function, after all. |

Message | There is no interference in private lifes of our citizen, with such legislation. People have the choice to use or not contraceptives, but if their choice is to use them, the government should help them to get them cheaper... That is an issue of healtcare as another one ! |
Date | 12:24:28, November 16, 2005 CET | From | Liberty and Prosperity Party | To | Debating the Contraception Act |
Message | They have the choice to use contraceptives right now. It's not like we forbid it. Passing this is essentially saying "It's alright, you don't need to be responsible for your actions, we'll make it all better." Sex has a very clear and known result: Children and sometimes disease. If you don't want either, buy a pack of $2 condoms. If you can't afford that, you really shouldn't have sex. Again, it isn't a vital function, you can survive without having sex. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
