MessageWhat happens if there is a state ememergency and the government needs to take an area immediatly this will let us do it. Obviously it wont happen often because it is only incase of vital work

MessageIt's a simple matter of who is subject to who. The government is supposed to exist to serve and be subservient to the people, the people do not serve us. By this idea we don't have the right to build on a citizen's land and if we did then that just means despite all our property rights the government still really owns everything in case they want to make something like a highway.

MessageThere could be a situation like a state emergenccy where the government needs to take an area immediately, but the wording "the government may seize private property for vital government works" is way too gray for my liking. And even before that I would want to know the steps the government must take in order to declare that a state of emergency is in place, which if they were to be to my liking would be very streneuous and restrictive ones.

MessageWithout making it like this, the opportunity for the government to pervert and use this power to tyrannize the individual through the seizing of property for reasons that are far from being able to be reasonably labeled "in the case of a state emergency", would be drastically increased. Experience has shown that it is likely that if the opportunity for such is available, that it will be taken advantage of.

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play.
