Message | The Freedom Party wishes to express its reasonings for conclusively voting against this bill: While we agree with the Republican Party on article 1 and 3, the Party firmly believes that the national government should have the ability to construct and maintain the interstate highways and any intrastate highways should be maintained by local governments. With regard to Article 2, we believe that people at the local level should be able to have their fair say about public works within their area. We should not and can not choose contracts over the principles of democracy. |
