Details

Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2144

Description[?]:

Gregory Ellis, long time leader of the Freedom Party and the longest serving Federal President in Rutanian history. The party he founded in Rutania has done amazingly well in fighting for free markets and civil liberties in Rutania and has always been a major contributor to the political scene in Rutania. Ellis was known for his combative style, dignified leadership and reasoned approach to leading Rutania. Ellis served a record 8 terms as Federal President of Rutania, including a run of five straight terms which lasted 15 years, in total, Ellis was President for a record 21 years and 8 months.

Bruce Dickinson was Foreign Minister for the longest consecutive time in Rutanian history, got mutual protection treaties with other countries, solved the beluzian crisis (drafting, negotiating and ratifying the Treaty of Calpicosa), drafted some free market treaties and worked for the Dundorf-Rutania sea one.

Tom Laird was Finance/Economic Minister for longest time ever, served in cabinet for 50 years and introduced tax reform, changed the economy to a more free market one with the support of other free market parties.

Florence Kay led the split in the Freedom Party, she created the powerful force of the Radical Freedom Party and she has been Head of Government for a few years. Instrumental in shaping the Radical Freedom Party into what it is today.

Georgia Dixon led the Conservative Party for many, many years and was also President once. She has been a long serving member of Parliament and a great figure in the Conservative Party, founding it in the early 2030's
She led a number of capitalist coalition cabinets as well as Head of Government

MessageBecause we're in the opposition doesn't mean we don't have any significant politicians. ;-)

And we still oppose Laird's and Dickinson's nominations, if the list goes to vote unchanged, we will be forced to vote against it in its entirety (which would be a shame).

MessageThats not valid reasons, thats just saying, they arent good enough.

Why is the longest serving foreign minister ever, someone who got mutual protection treaties with other countries, solved the beluzian crisis (drafting, negotiating and ratifying the Treaty of Calpicosa), drafted some free market treaties and worked for the Dundorf-Rutania sea one.not meritous enough? Eh? No valid reasons?

Your just against them because you are partisanly biased against them.

How do others feel on the nominations? LIP supports, RFP i think. Conservatives? CDP? Verita?

MessageWe are not biased against them, we feel they are not merituous enough. Dickinson was, quite frankly, an idiot who succesfully destroyed our reputation abroad and drafted treaties which were inconsistent with the fundamental nature of Rutania. He did not solve the Beluzian Crisis, and the Dundorf-Rutanian treaty was only ratified under the RSDP. And the fact that he sat in his office doing nothing for many years does not make one merituous.

MessageRight, he drafted, negotiated and secured the treaty of calpicosa, securing the end of the crisis. Now how is that not solving it?

As i have said before and on numerous times, he negotiated and talked about the treaty with Dundorf with their foreign minister (If you want to see the PMs i can fucking show you) and the only reason we did not seek ratification is that they were threatening war against Rutania if we did not ratify it immediately. How did those treaties go against the fundamental nature of Rutania? what fucking bullshit, they are free market treaties and this is a free market nation, or have you not noticed?

He did many things over the years.

No objections to Tom Laird? Good good.

MessageReally? Then why wasn't Rutanian legislation in compliance with those treaties? That alone is enough to vote against his nomination. And Tom Laird practically destroyed our economy, so...

A treaty which was quicly broken by the Beluzians, after which a new coalition had to solve things.

*cough* Bullshit. RSDP, you cannot make stuff up, you have no evidence of that, if you have, show it!

"Really? Then why wasn't Rutanian legislation in compliance with those treaties? That alone is enough to vote against his nomination."
A treaty agreed to that we then adopted and got our laws into agreement with, thats what real life countries do or try to do (Or dont do if you are France and Germany *Cough* Budget deficits *Cough*)

"A treaty which was quicly broken by the Beluzians, after which a new coalition had to solve things."

You call getting invaded solving things? We have been invaded many times, Dickinson ended the trade embargo, and the transfer of WMDs in each other's waters. There has not been any trade embargo since so the treaty did not fail, again you are making something up

Honestly RSDP, be objective and independent about the thing and not vote on a completely partisan basis

I'd like this answered RSDP. If human rights is in the fundamental nature of Rutania, how can free markets be against them? Partisan rubbish again? I would also like a response to my post above this one

Messagelol, RSDP thinks that people shouldnt be in the HoF because they didnt have the same politics as him. Truely pathetic.

I regret voting your Armstrong guy in now, even though he deserved it.

MessageListen carefully when i say this RSDP

Who said that treaties i draft have to be in accordance with Rutanian law?????

If they werent in accordance with Rutanian law i wouldnt have been able to propose ratification so you are SOOOOOO WRONG THERE.

You have drafted treaties we werent in compliance with

*cough* http://82.238.75.178:8085/particracy/main/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=104 *cough* At the time we had no govt regulation on this issue so when you wrote it, it wasnt in accordance with Rutanian law

Your arguments have been quashed and vanquished, you have no response to the Beluzian part or anything about Tom Laird, so i will take it you now accept them as true and have no evidence to the contrary

Seeing as all your arguments have been quashed i ask you to now vote in favour of this bill. Failure to do so says a lot about your party...

Are you really that stupid? You drafted two treaties, of which ONLY ONE was in compliance with Rutanian law at a certain time. So please refrain from making such idiotic comments. Failure to acknowledge fact says a lot about your party...

MessageYour stupid,

You said "the treaties he drafted, and please pay attention to the following sentence, WERE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH RUTANIAN LAW"

I point out you are wrong and you admit "You drafted two treaties, of which ONLY ONE was in compliance with Rutanian law at a certain time"

I emphasise the "ONLY ONE was in compliance with Rutanian law " Which kind of indicates that the treaties he drafted were not as you claimed, not in compliance with Rutanian law, but one actually was.

Yet again you ignore my argument about how being in compliance with Rutanian law is at all relevant to the drafting of treaties and its not like thats even a fucking requirement.

As for only one in compliance at a certian time, you ignore that your one had the same fucking thing. *cough* http://82.238.75.178:8085/particracy/main/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=104 *cough* At the time we had no govt regulation on this issue so when you wrote it, it wasnt in accordance with Rutanian law

Who really is the idiot? Its obviously the member from the RSDP

MessageFor any Government, that IS a requirement. And please cut the bullshit, that Convention was concluded way back in 2073, when we were still in compliance with it and before the Capitalist Coalition destroyed our country.
