Message | "Each region owns and maintains its own poer grid", so we don't quite see why this wouldn't guarantee that the regions wouldn't maintain public energy grids. They'd have to, and in case of emergencies, a smaller and more flexible regional energy authority would be better equipped to deal with them swiftly than a more distant and inflexible national bureaucracy. |
