Message | Our position on this bill can be summed up as follows: Agree with Article 1 Disagree with Article 2 on the ground that it is impossible to determine what situations may arise that are beyond the capabilities of basic law enforcement responce. Agree with Article 3. Disagree with Article 4 based on the "harm one, save many" principle. We understand that this may not happen often, but it is unwise to prevent the government from acting on it if it ever does. |

Message | OOC: It might be helpful to to refer to the proposals by their numbers, as their order isn't always the same every time each one of us looks. As it looks to me now, the FRFSP agrees with the separation of police and military, - disagrees with probiting torture on the ground "that it is impossible to determine what situations may arise that are beyond the capabilities of basic law enforcement responce" - agrees with having national and local police departments - disagrees with the change in extradition laws "based on the "harm one, save many" principle" It doesn't make sense somehow, does it? I can imagine which articles are meant, though. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
