Message | This Bill is a gross distortion of democracy. Why attempt to bind the will of the future legislatures over such a secondary issue. Only non-democrats would attempt such petty, politically motivated actions. Religious schools are just that...SCHOOLS. They are about education, not indoctrination. A good teacher would never present opinion (religious, or other) as fact. In a religious schools, all colours of opinion are presented, the child is free to form his / her own opinion. We in the SLR party believe that children can be trusted to make decisions as demonstrated by our voting record (it is ashame the same cannot be said for others). As a result of this evil bill... the Clarke family are please to announce on behalf of the SLR, that the Mystical Free Catholic Church of Endralon (a minor sect within the nation, of which around 70% of SLR members are a part of) is opening its' first school in the SLR stronghold city of Mendelev, Efinena. The grandchildren of the Rev. W. Clarke (founder and former leader of SLR) will be among the first children to attend the school). The school is already fully subcribed and the Party are considering further schools in the future. If this new law is passed the school will continue to opperate ilegally, as teachers, parents, and children alike have agreed that they would rather be sent to prison than have their freedom restricted in this way. The school will be open to boarding pupils who will be free to share glasses of Sauvignon Blanc and smoke weed with their teachers at dinner in the evenings. Beatrice Williams-Clarke said that the school was the begining of a fight back against government control by the intellectual middle classes and the Liberal elite of the nation. |
