Voting deadline: June 2141
Description[?]:
When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one government to assist another in controlling the population, it benefits all nations involved to assist each other in any manner possible. The ministers for foreign affairs and internal affairs have coordinated in authorizing a force of Deltarian peacekeepers to enter the nation and conduct domestic missions for the government. We propose to channel all of our current foreign aid to Deltaria, the nation that needs it most, and to increase the level of the payments. This bill is going to a vote to determine whether we reimburse Deltaria for their assistance, and to determine whether our resident stormtroopers will have powers of arrest. All actions have been taken through ministerial authority, however. |

Message | The Bátory-Nádašdy Dynastia would like to assure the government of Lodamun that the peacekeepers will arrive unarmed, and ordered to take their directives from the Lodamese Foreign and Internal Affairs Ministers and their subordinates. They will have no Deltarian agenda within Lodamun, except to serve as a message of goodwill, an olive branch between our two great peoples that may in the future, bloom into a beautiful friendship or alliance. We understand that Lodamun has been having civil conflicts they are having trouble containing, and are happy to offer the temporary services of five thousand of our semi-trained and very loyal Stormtroopers. We can also seperately ship some equipment and arms to Lodamun for their use, if you prefer not to equip them yourselves. We hope this will open new avenues of trade between our people. |

Message | The Internal Affairs minister has returned the weapons to the troops, and apologizes for the delay. We look forward to a peaceful Lodamun. |

Message | The Minister of Defense forbids to allow these fascists upon our soil and if they are to arrive, the military will show no mercy against them. George Miestran condems the Deltarian government for democide and genocide, and will pursue there downfall whenever possible. |

Message | Too late. They arrived 2 months before the election. If you want to cause civil war, be my guest. I am content to watch the Lodamun military destroyed, as the Deltarian mercenary stormtroopers are far beyond them in skill. |
Date | 00:13:12, November 15, 2005 CET | From | Juche Front (The Resistance) | To | Debating the Employing Foreign Assistance |
Message | Ridiculous. Our troops have been training for years to kill such imperailists. Let them enter, so we can destroy them. |
Date | 00:14:24, November 15, 2005 CET | From | Juche Front (The Resistance) | To | Debating the Employing Foreign Assistance |
Message | (However, we do not recognize the fact of any troops having entered unless the Minister of Defence says they have. Have to have some realism.) |
Date | 01:08:33, November 15, 2005 CET | From | Democractic Socialist Party of Lodamun | To | Debating the Employing Foreign Assistance |
Message | First article supported, but not the second. |
Date | 03:24:45, November 15, 2005 CET | From | Bátory Dynastia | To | Debating the Employing Foreign Assistance |
Message | As stated before, we would be entering your country as allies of your government. Are the Lodamese so bloodthirsty that they cannot envisage this? |
Date | 03:41:27, November 15, 2005 CET | From | CNT/AFL | To | Debating the Employing Foreign Assistance |
Message | We are not our government. We will not hesitate to use all our party's resources (Which are actually much larger than our share of the votes suggests - supporters of Anarchist parties tend to turn out less than usual, for some reason) to engage in all our guerilla warfare against the invading fascists. Our molotov cocktails and sticky bombs will halt the fascist tanks in their tracks! The streets of cities across Lodamun will run red with the blood of fascists and the theocrats they ally themselves with! |
Date | 06:33:58, November 15, 2005 CET | From | Slaytanic Wehrmacht | To | Debating the Employing Foreign Assistance |
Message | We abstain, so this bill can pass. Welcome Deltaria! |
Date | 07:07:47, November 15, 2005 CET | From | Tuesday Is Coming | To | Debating the Employing Foreign Assistance |
Message | "(However, we do not recognize the fact of any troops having entered unless the Minister of Defence says they have. Have to have some realism.)" Realism? It was authorized by the ministers of internal affairs and foreign affairs Internal affairs because they are supplementing the police. Foreign because it involves other countries. As this was authorized, the Lodamun military was not involved. We have not heard reports of any hostilities, and they are only helping to keep the criminals of Lodamun in line. Will you attack friends of Lodamun? |

Message | MoD has no authority over the police. |
Date | 07:07:00, November 16, 2005 CET | From | International Society of Bankers | To | Debating the Employing Foreign Assistance |
Message | (( Technically, though I am the MoD, I cannot stop this if it was passed by the Senate, and I do not know what powers the HoS has, so we will assume they are to arrive...)) The Minister of Defence refuses to cooperate with the Deltarian 'peacekeepers', but we do not have the ability to overide the ruling of the Senate. We will let them into the country, but I warn all to stay away from these people. the Deltarian culture is one of barbaric horrors, where a government that unleashes hell upon its people is accepted through a democratic vote every election. Steps will be taken to stop *ahem* terrorism against the 'peacekeepers', but we must warn it will be very limited, as the military is stretched currently... So, we welcome the Deltarians... at there own risk. Bert Taylor Minister of Defence --------------------------------------------------------------- The Militia is watching.
