MessageMr. Speaker,

May I remind the CPU that Dorvik's people are extremely secular and many do not follow a religion.

(OOC: view the nation page.. it says 'Secular, Dominant' on it)

MessageOOC: The Wiki says:

"Dorvik is a rather secular country but has a large minority of religious members; the two major religions are the Dorvish Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church."

The proportion of Christians amongst the population is not stated, but I presume from this it is reasonable to assume that Dorvik includes a large number of Christians, even though they do not make up the majority. According to Particracy's information on the states that make up Dorvik, both Dorvan and Miktar veer towards a "religious" rather than a "secular" outlook.

Perhaps we could do with adding some more information to the nation page re: the religious/non-religious breakdown of the populace.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically
