Message | Mr. Speaker, This crazy Bill places areas of policy that are of incredible national importance into the hands of local politicians. Should, say, water quality and education - even the question of whether there is an water quality regulation or state education provided - really be left up to local councils? |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Of course it should. The CPU are against this because it curbs their own influence. Why souldn't localities have more power over issues they can deal better with than the national government? |
