| Commissar Nate Burton proposes this spending budget to the People’s Committee and asks them to pass it at once. “This budget shows adequate funding the departments needed as they were grossly underfunded before. Only two departments had a cut while all others were given funding. General Secretary was cut due to his request after talking with me because the position is mostly overseeing and paper work. Education was cut after Dolores Madison requested the cut of 10 billion from her department because of left over money not being used at all. Below are the reasons I have gave funding to other departments and my expectations from the Ministers to use them” Foreign Affairs: The funding has gone to 8 billion to help pay travel costs and hotel stays for national trips to represent Aloria at different foreign conferences. The money is also to help re-build our embassies on other nation’s soil. Internal Affairs: This department is never funded correctly, as the department is to oversee the other departments by reports, investigations etc. However last time I checked the case load was heavy on the department and the funding is to repair the offices it has and hire more workers. Finance: This department has a tax evasion office to deal with those who are skipping out of paying their taxes, weather it be an induvial or a business. This funding is to help hire more workers for that office and any other needs the Minister seams to need. Defense: Minister Perry asked for more funding to start researching nuclear weapons, to protect the nation as well as a new national defense project. Justice: This money is being sent to local governments to help with the crime rave in Aloria, it is hiring more federal agents, and combating the crime rave in ‘broken’ cities. Transport: Has some extra funding to provide more government transport to end pollution levels and be able to cover citizens with our subsidies policy on public transport. Health: Was drastically underfunded, we had to let private insurances come and were going to keep them however this money is to support the government health care system and to help regulate private insurance ones. We will not fund private insurances as they must fund themselves. I’m declaring the Health Minister open a Private Insurance Regulations office in the department to regulate them. Education: Test scores have went up, but however some of the money is sitting around not being spent because it has no where to go, we can take that money back until the extra funding is needed. Science and Technology: I have boosted the funding to do more research on vaccines for children, cures to diseases and to help fund our national space program. Food: Help make sure to test all food before going on shelves and help to deal with any recalls given. Environment: To help repair our state parks, and keep them in good condition and help fund them if they are about to close Finally Trade and Industry: I have found this department special we are starting free trade among other nations now. However I have declared the Trade and Industry Minister open the Small Businesses Office to help give loans to those who are starting a business out. They have to provide that they can run a business and that the government will be paid back in the coming years. This is to help fund more businesses (mom and pop) to have them start up small and grow. This funding is needed at once, this budget must be passed. Pass it at once please” |
